[bamboozled]

new things
I picked up a new coffee. It's a holiday blend called "chocolate cheer" and I made cold brew with it. I like it so far! It has a deep, rich dark chocolate smell and taste to it, which I love.

good things
I saw my friend and celebrated her birthday with her tonight. That was fun. I saw some other people I hadn't seen in a bit! I always have fun when that happens. We played Cards Against Humanity, which generally I don't like to play as it turns into an opportunity to just be mean to one another, but this group did not do that.

I saw Ateez in Fort Worth last wednesday, and they were SO good. I know they are great performers but seeing them live was next level and I am so glad I went, even if I slept through my alarm the next morning. I can post some pictures and stuff in another post if other people are interested! I think I was most surprised by Seonghwa. He is so gorgeous and such a dynamic and powerful performer. I was happy to see my main bb Mingi, too. They are all so talented!!! Also, I was originally seated in the upper bowl, but I...seat jumped. I'm part of the problem!!! But I was sooo close and they were seats that hadn't sold. I'm not a thief!

annoying things
I have honestly too many to count, but the main one right now is how soul-sucking working in retail is during the holidays. People are so rude and so entitled. Please be kind to retail workers, folks!

Part of me liked working retail at the holidays bc I love holiday Stuff and it was always so busy that I could totally turn my brain off, but also yes. People are so rude! Stunningly rude!

I am glad you seat jumped. If they didn't sell, people should move down into the seats! Everyone from the upper seats should move down, it makes for a better show for the group too.

yeah i really don’t mind retail in general, but i think it’s the area i’m in, and the like volume vs amount of work vs amount of workers vs how much we’re paid that makes it like. miserable right now. i do love the christmas carols tho!

I agree!!!! There was a GA section, too, that was about half-full, which was dumb bc ateez are GREAT! if i hadn’t needed a wristband i would’ve gone down there.

seonghwa is unreal... i'm mad at how amazing he is onstage. ridiculous. & yes i always try to be extra sweet to retail workers this time of year bc i can only imagine how chaotic and rough it is to be working it!!
